What’s on the Casino Floor
Our casino sits at 15-16 High Street, Swansea, SA1 1LG. The gaming floor is laid out as a full-service venue, with the classic mix of live roulette, blackjack and poker tables, and a dedicated poker room for those who prefer a more focused setting. Right beside them you will find electronic terminals, so you can choose between playing with a dealer or keeping things on-screen.
Live table games operate every day from 2pm until 5am. Times are steady enough that regular visitors rarely need to plan around them, although, as you would expect, weekends tend to be noticeably busier.
Poker is one of the more structured parts of what we run. Cash tables sit alongside regular tournament formats, so the room attracts players from across South Wales who are used to both styles. PokerAtlas lists us as an active poker room, but if you want to know exactly what is on for a particular evening, the most accurate answer will always come from calling us on +44 01792 655227. Poker schedules change occasionally.

As part of the Grosvenor Casinos group, our Swansea venue follows the same product standards used across more than 50 locations in the UK. If you already know the brand from another city, the look, feel and rules on the floor here will sit very close to what you are used to.
Opening Hours and Getting Here
We open our doors every day of the week. The casino runs from 2pm until 5am daily, giving you a consistent window whether you are visiting midweek or at the weekend.
You will find us in Swansea city centre on High Street, within easy reach by car, bus or train. We do not have our own car park on site. The closest option is the NCP multi-storey on Orchard Street directly behind the building, with more than 500 spaces available. Bus routes 16, 26, 30 and 34 all stop outside our entrance, giving straightforward links to other parts of the city.
One small practical point that we see catching people out from time to time: if you are driving into a city centre casino on a Friday night, take a moment to check the overnight tariff at the car park you plan to use. Some NCP car parks change their rates after midnight, and that is easier to deal with before you arrive than at the payment machine.
Accessibility has been built in from the start. There is a lift in the lobby that brings you straight up to the casino floor, level access for wheelchairs across the gaming area, and disabled toilets within the venue. These are full provisions, not partial or limited to one section.

The Brand Behind the Venue
Grosvenor Casinos opened its first venues in 1970 and now operates around 53 casinos across the UK. Behind the brand sits The Rank Group, based in Maidenhead, which also runs bingo clubs and online gambling products. Grosvenor Casino Swansea is therefore one element within a larger, regulated group rather than a one-off independent site.
Licensing is handled in two layers. At national level, Grosvenor Casinos Limited holds its operating licence with the UK Gambling Commission. At local level, Swansea Council issues and oversees the premises licence for 15-16 High Street. On the Gambling Commission public register the venue appears as “Swansea Electric Grosvenor Casino”. That is simply the formal premises description, not a different consumer brand. For guests and local players we trade as Grosvenor Casino Swansea.
